Launching a business as an immigrant woman is challenging. Long story short, the journey is full of bumps, ups and downs, and a lot of sweat and tears, but part of our success is from the support of different great people and organizations. The Women’s Business Hub (WBH) has always been a great support for my business success. The resources that the organization provides, such as the E-commerce platform for the Global Market website help my business gain visibility and credibility.
A vendor must be local business entrepreneur who is an immigrant and/or refugee. Must be located in Saskatchewan. For all food products Saskatchewan Health Authority approval is required.(Licence is required).
WBH does not allow any illegal product to be sold on the platform.
After submitting the application, there will be a phone interview to make sure that the vendor is eligible and meets all the requirements. Once the vendor is accepted, you will receive an email that will have all the instructions you need to login to the platform and how to add products/services to your store.
Product vendors pay one time signup fee of $50 and 10% commission on the sale. Service vendors pay $50 signup fee and an annual membership fee of $50. The signup fee is paid during the application process.
